On Sunday, Caroline was baptized at New Sterling ARP Church by Pastor Tim Watson. It also happened to be Homecoming, celebrating New Sterling’s 235th birthday (yes, before the Constitution of the United States was written!). It was a lovely service and we got to welcome so many family members there, as well! Caroline wore the same christening gown worn my my dad and all his siblings, as well as myself, my sisters, and all my cousins. Caroline was the 16th baby to have worn the dress. Pastor Tim recognized grandma during the service which was so special. We had lunch afterwards and snuck in a little celebration for Dad’s birthday, too. Caroline got so many sweet gifts: a Noah’s Ark playset, stuffed bears, outfits, a personalized cross ornament with her baptism date, and her lifetime hunting license from Papa! We are so grateful for our wonderful family and missed those who couldn’t be with us!
